CPDC farm

Child Foundation

The Child Protection and Development Center (CPDC) received a grant from Johnson & Johnson and Lufthanza to install a professional commercial aquaponics unit in its facilities. AHAS completed this project with the allocated funds and donated equipment. The climate-controlled farm provides food for the child community and sells vegetables locally.

The farm commenced operations in 2001 with two production lines. In 2023, Phase-2 was implemented, which added two additional lines. The recently concluded Phase-3 upgrade to the farm has resulted in a doubling of production output compared to the Phase-2 setup.

The children gain valuable business management skills through their involvement in the operation of the farm.

Singapore Hotel

AHAS has constructed an Aquaponics farm on the fifth floor of the Fairmont Hotel Singapore. This facility provides aquaponic vegetables to the Fairmont, Swissotel, and Raffles restaurants. It is open to visitors who wish to gain insights into AHAS’s urban aquaponics practices.

Malaysia AHAS farm

Constructed within a government agricultural research facility in Kuala Lumpur, this farm comprises two distinct units within a 40-meter-long greenhouse. The farm’s produce is distributed to various supermarkets located within Kuala Lumpur.

Thailand AHAS lab

The AHAS experimental laboratory is equipped with the most advanced generation of AHAS equipment. The greenhouse is fully environmentally controlled, allowing for precise adjustments of air and water condition. The facility is powered entirely by solar energy. We cultivate a diverse range of vegetables, fruits, and flowers growing in various regions worldwide.
The laboratory is constructed using the latest and most advanced AHAS technology, mirroring that employed in large-scale farms. Within this extensive facility, we meticulously record production rates for numerous plants, as well as energy consumption and operating costs across various environments.
Our comprehensive database is utilized within Ceres, our Aquaponics Modeling Software, to forecast productivity, revenue streams, and primary operational costs. This farm instills confidence in our ability to eliminate these uncertainties.
We have successfully operated this laboratory since 2001.
