Ceres-Production includes our actual plants’ production data for the last 8 years. When you select a plant, the average production per area unit is automatically populated and adjusted for your environment.

Your design is saved on your computer, so you can update it anytime.

We continuously update the productivity database and add new app features.
Water temperature and light duration affect plant growth. Set these parameters.
Growlight duration can be set from 6 to 18 hours daily. Ceres computes the plant additional growth rate and therefore decrease the area and number of plants required in your farm. It is recommended to give the plants at least 6 hours of dark for cell regeneration.
Water temperature significantly affects plant growth. While air temperature may fluctuate by over 10°C in a day, water temperature changes by only 1°C. Measure the temperature in a nearby large pond or swimming pool to determine this average. The optimum water temperature for lettuce is 15°C and 21°C (60°F and 70°F), with 18°C to 20°C (65°F to 68°F) being ideal. Maintaining this range ensures high dissolved oxygen levels, prevents root rot, and prevents fowering.

Batch small plants include:
• Lettuce: batavia, butterhead, green coral, red coral, green oak, red oak, cos/romaine, frilice, and iceberg,
• vegetables: baby kan lan, pak choy, cabbage, and morning glory
Uo to six different plants can be added to the production schedule.

Germination and nursery efficiency are proposed but can be adjusted.
Ceres computes the growth plan, the required growing area, and the revenue associated to each plant.

Continous small plants include rocket arugula, mizuna, spinach, and watercress.
Up to three different plants can be added to the production schedule.

Ceres computes the growth plan, the required growing area, and the revenue associated to each plant.
The growing plan includes a non productive vegetative period and a productive period.
New plants are prepared an put in the farm while the older plant is still producing, but for some plants there may be a non-productive transition period.

Cooking herbs include chives, parsley, rosemary, mint, thyme, and sage.
Up to four different plants can be added to the production schedule.

Please let us know if you need more tabs for any type of plants.
We are also testing more plants in our lab and farms and continously update the plant datase using our production results.
Enter your farm width.
Specify the size of your grow beds: grow bed width and growing area width.
Define the width of the walkway between the lines, and the desired walkways on each sides of the greenhouse.
Ceres will calculate the length of the greenhouse, and advise on the width of the side walkways.
You can adjust any parameters at will.
If you plan to reduce the size of the greenhouse, a multi-level option can be selected.

Ceres computes the fish food and fish requirements, and propose a number and size of fish tank. You can adjust these paramaters, as well as the fish tank height. The water level is 20cm below the top of the fish tank.
Ceres provides the fish weight per tank.
Assuming you have 4 fish tanks, you will harvest in the “big fish” tank as necessary during a quarter of the fish lifetime. Then you will replace the fish in this tank with small fingerlings. The next tank becomes you “harvesting tank.
Ceres recommends a feeding rate per tank, based on the fish age, and therefore food consumption.
Ceres will give you an alarm if the quantity of fish per tank is too high.

Ceres computes the mineral consumption for each plant and advise on mineralization supplement.

To maintain an continous production, you will seed weekly.
Ceres provides the optimum seeding plan for you desired production.

Ceres finally computes a summary of your farm monthly plant and fish production, and associated revenue.
