The Child Protection and Development Center (CPDC) is a non-profit organization that provides a safe haven for abused children in Thailand. They offer them a stable home environment, a supportive family, and comprehensive educational opportunities.
CPDC secured a grant from Johnson & Johnson and Lufthanza to establish a professional commercial aquaponics unit within its premises. AHAS successfully completed this project utilizing the allocated funds and donated equipment. The climate-controlled farm serves as a source of sustenance for the local child community and engages in the sale of fresh vegetables within the community.
The farm commenced operations in 2002 with two production lines. In 2023, Phase-2 was implemented, which added two additional lines. In 2025, the design was finalized, and the Phase-3 upgrade to the farm resulted in a doubling of production output compared to the Phase-2 setup.
By actively participating in the farm’s operations, the children develop essential business management skills, gain a comprehensive understanding of a biological ecosystem, and acquire practical knowledge of contemporary farming techniques.

Constructed within a government agricultural research facility in Kuala Lumpur, this farm comprises two distinct units within a 40-meter-long greenhouse.
This government complex had two greenhouses allocated to Aquaponics. AHAS established its first farm in one greenhouse. After a year of operations, the Malaysian government released the second greenhouse and requested AHAS to expand in it.
Currently, the farm’s produce is distributed to various supermarkets located within Kuala Lumpur under the AHAponics brand.
A new Level of Vegetable Quality
Purchasing directly from the farm guarantees freshness and pesticide-free products
No distribution costs, resulting in a lower price
Elimination of distribution costs leads to a substantial increase in the farm’s profit margin.

We start with understanding your vegetable production needs and area available.
We size the required growing area based on our comprehensive and practical productivity database for many vegetables. If you want to grow special vegetables, we can test the production in our labs and farms.
We size the required fish engine to power the defined growing area.
We validate fundamentals technical details like access to the area, maximum building structural load, drainage requirement, OPEX, availability of resources (fish, fish food), …
We compute the power and energy requirement, and size the associated solar system.
We size the utility area (seeding, cleaning, packing, storage, sales, …) and optimize the layout for a practical and efficient workflow
We complete the layout, get your approval, finalize the hydraulics design, and prepare a visualization video for final project validation.
There is a design fee for this work. Please contact us for more details.
This is an example of visualization design video.

For longevity and UV resistance, all pipe and fittings must be high-pressure minimum Grade D or equivalent (i.e. type 8.5 or 13.5).
We provide highly efficient and low energy consumption water pumps.
For safety, all equipment submerged in the water uses a maximum of 24V power voltage.
The area must be flat, perfectly leveled, and cemented.
The building structure weight must be suitable to hold the unit weight.
If the area is not yet cemented, we provide a draing of throughts to prepare in the cement slab to host the hydrauli and electrical piping.
