The MIT is the backbone of all our systems. It has been designed to assemble and disassemble long deep water culture lines in no time, Lego style. Its shape has also been optimized to maximize plant growth rate.
The MIT is 150x120x45cm. It can be put on legs for a comfortable 90cm working height and can be stacked to grow plants on top of MIT fish tanks (stacked MIT) or another MIT growing plants (MITduo or MITtrio).

The Optimum Aquaponics media bed system
An AHAS design, the famous MIT, Modular Infinity Tank is a 1.5m (5’) long by 1.2m (4’) wide modular system you can use to build Deep Water Culture and Fish Tanks as long as you need. It provides a growth area of up to 150 plant slots on 2.5 60x90cm AHAbords or AHAtrays.
The MIT is the backbone of all AHAS commercial and domestic systems. A 20m-long commercial line can be assembled in 3 hours hours. In Domestic or Decorative applications, the MIT also hosts fish.
Versatile
The MIT is used to build large commercial units very fast. It is also used in our Domestic Kits to fit your needs and available area.
We have packaged some sets, but you can use your creativity to make your own MIT assembly. It can be as long as you want. It is stackable.
The MIT45 is 45cm high. The MIT90 is 90cm high.
Long-term investment
The MIT can be assembled in minutes. It can be easily disassembled to be relocated or to change or expand the configuration of your unit in the future. Our Malaysia unit was relocated in less than 12 days in 2019, then dismantled again to be expanded in 2021.
Optimum hydraulics
The MIT has been designed for optimum water movement. The oxygen and nutrients are distributed homogenously. The plant roots have optimum access to them. Tank vacuum cleaning is also made extremely easy in the MIT.
Built with the best materials
All components of the MIT are made of LDPE and ABS food grade and UV resistant plastic, and aluminum. All non-corrosive materials that last for decades.

The robust AHAboard floating raft, the incredible AHApot, and the fantastic wicking bed AHAtray are 3 accessories fitting in the MIT. They have been designed to optimize production. The hole spacing has been specifically optimized for various plant densities.
To make your life easy, protect your system, and maximize production
Don’t worry about the feeding time. Control the environment for optimum production 365 days a year. AHAS has spent years testing accessories like water pumps, oxygenation systems, fish feeders, fish safety systems, and environmental control systems for tropical aquaponics.
Growing media and aquaponics mineral supplement
The pre-cut sponge bloc is the most convenient growing media for most small plants. We also use our Pasir Malang media for plants that need mechanical support or in the AHAtray. We have developed a unique mineral supplement mix optimized for Aquaponics.
